Biying Shou

Biying Shou is an Associate Professor of Management Sciences at College of Business, City University of Hong Kong. She received her bacheolor degree in Management Information Systems from Tsinghua University (China) and M.S. and Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences from Northwestern University (U.S.A). Her main expertise is in operations & supply chain management and network economics. She has published in top journals such as Operations Research, Production and Operations Management, and IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing. She worked at 4R Systems (U.S.A.) prior to joining CityU, doing demand forecasting, price elasticity analysis and inventory optimization for major retail chains including Crate & Barrel, LNthings, and Pep Boys. Currently, she teaches the core operations management course for EMBA students and supervises both Ph.D. and DBA students at CityU.
